What are your mounts made of?

All of our standard mounts are built from durable glass-filled nylon. Our Pro range of mounts such as the Handlebar Mount Pro and Fork Stem Mount Pro are made with anodized aluminium.

Do I need a Vibration Dampener?

We have found that motorbikes with engines of all sizes are capable of producing the high-frequency vibrations that can damage smartphone cameras, so we recommend installing the Vibration Dampener on any Moto Mount, regardless of bike or phone model. You can find the Vibration Dampener here.

How many times can I use the bolts/hardware?

Due to the threadlocker installed on the screws, the hardware can be installed 1 time before requiring a replacement.

My mirror stem is right next to the brake reservoir on my motorbike. Will the brake reservoir mount fit?

The brake reservoir mount pivot arm and base can be rotated and angled away from the mirror stem to allow for clearance to attach and detach a phone. On smaller brake reservoirs the pivot arm and base can slide along the bracket to increase clearance to components such as the mirror stem and handlebar controls.

What threadlocker is installed on the bolts?

The threadlocker is ND593S, an automotive medium strength grade threadlocker.

Can I use an extension arm with the Brake Reservoir Mount?

It's important your device/mount is not impacting any part of your bike when in use. If you require a little more height we'd recommend one of our Vibration Dampeners which can provide clearance while helping to protect your phone. If you still require additional height, we would recommend one of our smaller accessories, such as:

We do not recommend the use of a Dual Pivot Arm, as the additional height can put strain on the screws that hold the mount in place.
