1. Make sure the windscreen is clean, we recommend cleaning the glass with an alcohol based cleaner. Ensure that the surface is dry and any residue has evaporated before applying the suction cup.

You can, but the adhesive gel on the suction cup can pick up dust, fibres and grease, especially if it's been removed and re-attached, so we recommend giving the suction cup a wash with warm soapy water, then leaving this to air-dry.

We recommend first cleaning the Gel Pad using the method detailed above in the Tutorial section. If it's still not staying stuck in the installed location get in touch with our support team and they'll look into a warranty for you if necessary!

How to Apply

1. Make sure the windscreen is clean, we recommend cleaning the glass with an alcohol-based cleaner. Ensure that the surface is dry and any residue has evaporated before applying the suction cup.

NOTE: Do not use silicon-based cleaners, as the residue from the silicon reduces the ability for suction cups to stick!

2. Make sure the suction cup is free from any dust, dirt, or damage. The suction cup can be cleaned using warm soapy water.

The Car windscreen/suction mount does not use a ball socket, rather it utilises a gimbal socket that attaches directly to the mounting head.

If you have an older style windscreen/suction mount purchased prior to July 2022 you may need a Gimbal to 360 adaptor to complete mounting any new mounting heads.

No, the Suction Windscreen/Dash Mount comes included with a standard twist head for you to mount your Quad Lock case or Universal Adaptor.

If you are looking for a Magnetic or Wireless Charging option you can add the additional head when purchasing, or purchase separately at a later date.

No, unfortunately the gel pad suction cup is fully integrated into the mount and is not able to be replaced. If your mount is still within warranty please reach out to our support team for further assistance.

Magnetic and wireless charging heads are not included, but all car mounts are 360-compatible, so you can easily purchase and attach one separately or add it when building your kit.
