Unfortunately no, the MAG Heads do not contain a twist-to-lock-mechanism, only a magnetic attachment, so the original case isn't compatible with these.

No, whilst our MAG Heads can attach to our whole range of motorcycle, bicycle and 360 mounts, we don't suggest using them in any application where the phone may become damaged if it comes off the mount.
Our dual stage locking mounts (using a Lever Head or Weatherproof Wireless Charging Head) are still our most robust solution, providing a secure lock between case and mount.

As a general reference, most phones charging wirelessly at around 8 to 10W can expect around 20 to 30% battery increase per hour in good conditions. If what you are seeing feels noticeably lower than this, it is worth considering a few things that commonly affect wireless charging speed: phone usage while charging, warm environments or direct sunlight, battery level above 70%, and the output of your power supply.

*Most computer/laptop USB ports output 5V/0.5-0.9A and as such are not recommended for powering the Quad Lock® Wireless Charger. The minimum power requirements are 5V/2A but we recommend the use of a Quick Charge 2.0/3.0/4.0 (9V/1.67A) power supply as it will provide sufficient voltage and current required for fast charging (9V/1.67A).

Some heat during wireless charging is expected. Wireless charging works by transferring energy through electromagnetic induction, and part of that energy is naturally converted into heat.

Things like using your phone while charging, warm environments or direct sunlight, and having a case on can all add to the heat generated during wireless charging. This is normal and safe, your phone will manage its own temperature automatically.

No, car mounts come with a standard twist-lock head included.

Magnetic and wireless charging heads are not included, but all car mounts are 360-compatible, so you can easily purchase and attach one separately or add it when building your kit.
