What is the Quad Lock Cup Holder Mount and how is it different from other mounts?

The Quad Lock Cup Holder Mount is a secure and convenient phone mounting solution that fits into most vehicle cup holders.

No adhesives, suction cups, or vent clips needed.

Unlike vent or suction mounts, it keeps your dashboard and windscreen clear, doesn’t block airflow, and stays stable even on bumpy roads thanks to its vibration-resistant design.

How much weight can the mount hold?

We recommend a maximum combined weight of 500g for optimal stability. This includes your phone, case, charging head, and any other accessories attached to the mount. Exceeding this may impact performance, especially on rougher roads.

Which vehicles or cup holders is it compatible with?

The mount fits most standard cup holders in cars, SUVs, trucks, and vans.

It adjusts to diameters between 70–100mm using a twist-to-lock mechanism.

While it works in most cases, it may not be ideal for very shallow or angled cup holders that don’t provide stable contact points.

It also works well with textured cup holders thanks to the grippy outer surface.

Will it stay in place while driving?

Yes, when properly installed, the mount stays firmly in place during everyday driving, including sudden braking or acceleration. The gooseneck arm holds its shape well, although it may need occasional readjustment on very rough terrain.

Can I reposition the arm or remove it?

Yes, the gooseneck arm can be shaped to suit your preferred angle and adjusted as needed. It can also be unscrewed from the base if you need to pack it down or store it.

Will it damage my cup holder?

No. The grip-locks have a soft, grippy TPE surface that prevents scratching or marking your cup holder.

Can I use it in other vehicles or setups?

Yes, you can easily move the mount between vehicles. It may also work in boats, golf carts, RVs, or anywhere with a standard-size cup holder, but it’s not rated for marine environments or outdoor exposure.

What if my phone feels wobbly in the mount?

Make sure the base is tightly secured in the cup holder, and that your phone is properly locked into the Quad Lock head. Some phone movement is normal over bumpy roads, but if the arm starts to sag, you can reshape it to restore stability.

Is a magnetic or wireless charging head included with the Cup Holder Mount?

No, the Cup Holder Mount comes with a standard twist-lock head included.

Magnetic and wireless charging heads are not included, but all car mounts are 360-compatible, so you can easily purchase and attach one separately or add it when building your kit.
