Can I modify the Heavy Duty Suction Mount?
Yes, you can modify the Heavy Duty Suction Mount. Since it's part of our 360 range, all components are interchangeable with other 360 parts, allowing you to customise it to suit your needs. You can even build and personalise your setup using our 360 Kit Builder tool, available on our website here.
What activities / applications are NOT recommended for the Heavy Duty Suction Mount??
It is not recommended for use on motorcycles, scooters, ATVs, or other high frequency engine vibration applications.
How does the Heavy Duty Suction Mount compare to the CAR-5 in larger 4x4 applications where the windscreen is further away from the driver?
As it's built/configured with a Dual Pivot (Medium) Arm and can have heads such as a Weatherproof Wireless Charging attached, the mount is approx. 7 cm (2 ¾ in.) closer to the driver.
Are replacement / spare parts available for the Heavy Duty Suction Mount?
There are some parts that we have replacements for that are part of the mount, these include:
- The 360 Top Cap
- Dual pivot balls from the dual pivot arm
There are no plans to make spare parts available for the Suction Base. In case of damage, the whole Suction Base is to be replaced, as it is the Base part/component of a complete mount.
Can I add a Wireless Charging Head to the Heavy Duty Suction Mount?
Yes, you can add a Wireless Charging Head or a MAG head to the Heavy Duty Suction Mount. During checkout, you’ll have the option to choose one of these heads or stick with the default 360 Top Cap. These charging heads are also sold separately, so you can purchase one anytime if you decide to upgrade later.
