FAQ

Will my devices charge slower if I'm charging two devices at once?

Nope, the charging speed depends on the output of the power supply used. We provide an 18W or 30W power supply depending on the phone you use and charge speeds that you want to achieve.

For example, if you buy this in a kit with an iPhone case, you'll only need an 18W power supply to access iPhone fast charge speeds (7.5W), so you can fast charge two iPhones, or one iPhone and another device like your Airpods all at the maximum speed allowed through a 3rd party wireless charger like ours.

Can I use the Dual Desktop Wireless Charger with an Original Quad Lock Phone Case?

We don't recommend this combo. Whilst you can charge a phone in an Original Case on the Charging Pad base, it won't automatically locate your phone in the correct position on the charging pad. You also won't be able to use the Charging Head, as your phone won't magnetically lock on to this like it would in our MAG Case.

If you are looking for a desk mount for your original, non-MAG case, please check out the Original Desk Mount .

How does the Dual Desktop Wireless Charger stay in one place when I'm mounting my phone?

The Dual Desktop Wireless Charger features a re-usable nano suction adhesive base. This will act like a regular adhesive when being stuck down, except you can remove it and reinstall elsewhere as many times as you like.

What surfaces will the Dual Desktop Wireless Charger attach to?

When using products with nano-suction technology, we recommend checking the usage guidelines for the surface you intend to place the product on. Different surface types, including laminate, MDF, or timber veneers, can vary in durability and finish quality, which may affect how they react to nano-suction bases.

Ensuring your surface is suitable for this type of application can help prevent unintended damage. If you’re unsure, consult the care instructions or manufacturer’s recommendations for your furniture to confirm compatibility.

My Dual Desktop Wireless Charger isn't sticking down after being pulled off the desk anymore, is there a solution?

Over time the nano-suction adhesive on the base of these can pick up dust and fibres that can affect how firmly the unit holds in place.

The good news is this can be easily fixed by using sticky tape or a lint roller to pick up anything from the base, once you've gone over the whole surface, have another go at attaching this to your desk.

I want to put one of these beside my bed to charge my phone at night, can I turn off the LED light?

You don't have to! Our Dual Desktop Wireless Charger features a night mode, using a light sensor it will detect when it's being used in a dark room and turn off the LEDs automatically.

How fast can it charge my phone?

As a general reference, most phones charging wirelessly at around 8 to 10W can expect around 20 to 30% battery increase per hour in good conditions. If what you are seeing feels noticeably lower than this, it is worth considering a few things that commonly affect wireless charging speed: phone usage while charging, warm environments or direct sunlight, battery level above 70%, and the output of your power supply.

If you have accounted for all of these and the charge rate still seems significantly lower than expected, you can reach our support team for further assistance using the link below.

Why does my phone get hot when using the wireless charger?

Some heat during wireless charging is expected. Wireless charging works by transferring energy through electromagnetic induction, and part of that energy is naturally converted into heat.

Things like using your phone while charging, warm environments or direct sunlight, and having a case on can all add to the heat generated during wireless charging. This is normal and safe, your phone will manage its own temperature automatically.

If you have accounted for all of these and the heat is significant or is causing any error messages in your device, you can reach our support team for further assistance using the link below.

Can I charge my smart watch on the Charging Pad?

Unfortunately the charging coils in smart watches are too small to align with the coils in our Charging Pad, meaning they cannot connect to charge wirelessly. Most Bluetooth headphones with wireless charging cases are able to connect and charge on the pad.
