We don't recommend replacing the adhesive on the Universal Adaptor.

The 3M VHB tape we use is applied to the products using a special 3M primer to ensure the plastic bonds well to the tape. The primer is not readily available and without it the bond is not as strong.  

If you need to replace the adhesive, we recommend purchasing another Universal Adaptor.

Please note, replacing the adhesive yourself will void the warranty of the product.
